I suggest speechles' unofficial google these days, http://forum.egghelp.org/viewtopic.php?t=13586

It has basically become the new official google as I've given him permission to upload it to the Tcl repository.

It's telling you what is wrong. Check your settings and permissions.

Sorry to anyone who tried to access incith.com -- my IP had changed some time and I did not realize it.

It should be back up again, for now. (or once DNS propegates) use incith.sytes.net for now. http://incith.sytes.net

I'm Done.

If anyone would like to retrieve any last copies of the incith:* scripts that are hosted on incith.com then you should probably do so immediately. I will soon bring everything down as I am just... tired. I will not be updating anything in the future. If anyone wishes to continue the work, feel free ...

r113 released. Spaces in searches will now become wildcards, for example.. !wow li hoof finds "Lightninghoof" !wow li blad finds "Lightning's Blade" Also if the bot cannot find a realm, for north america, it will now link to the realm status page, instead of the XML file that I p...

You are probably +f on the bot; but I agree somewhere in there is a bug, not sure why it happened on /msg. Basically for the test I mean, have your friend send the 12 or whatnot !weathers, and just watch him, he should start lagging to you in the same way the bot does, after his first 5 or so !weath...

you can test this on your own client for example.. try spamming 10 - 12 lines in a row really fast (uparrow + enter), and perhaps watch the output on another IRC client. You may get disconnected from the server, or, your output will start getting queued. I don't think it's really something that can ...

I'll think about this for a future release.

I did see there was a script on egghelp here for adding users to the pisg.cfg, so maybe I'll stem from that. Would be nice to have a tcl script to handle it all I guess.

I'm not sure what version you're using, I'm guessing I just made this change recently in my local copy. Basically, do a search for putserv and replace them with putquick and this should make the output instant. The SVN version has this already (and !time) -- http://svn.incith.com/index/incith/trunk/...

Grr.. seems they've completely removed the acronym page I was using. This script is cursed. Just posting that I am aware of it and will find yet another Acronym website to use. Pity, I really liked that one.

I'd have to agree with just using cron. Set the timer to every minute if you must (I use 5 or 10 minute check).. your bot will start as soon as cron check runs, whether the machine is rebooted or not. Just setup your botchk file and chmod +x it. Then (from shell) run crontab -e # minute(0-59) hour(0...
