I just had the same problem again, so *bump*... Again? After a year? That implies that you had it working. So - what did you do to get it working this past year? And - what has changed? oh no, I missed all your replies... No I never got it working, it just happens every couple of months that one of...

Connecting to twitch IRC with OAUTH

Hey,

I'm trying to connect my bot to irc.twitch.tv which requires the use of an OAUTH token, I can't seem to find out how to do that, is it even possible with an Eggdrop? Are there any additional scripts required?

Hi,

we are running your script and it works perfectly on most channels. However, on chans with underscores in the channel name (e.g. #chat_german), it does not react. Is there any way this could be fixed?

Thank you!

iptables rules for botnet

Hi, I'm running eggdrop behind an iptables firewall which is kind of restrictive. Because of that, I can't run my eggdrop as a botnet hub as incoming connections from the highportrange are dropped which means userfiles cant be received. Can anyone suggest some good rules to make it work without bein...

Thanks for the answer! As the bots are basically used as channelprotection on quakenet, i thought it might be better to have a fast latency in order to react more quickly to overtake attempts. Considering that would you still recommend the slower latency? If not so, would it be a stable solution to ...

Weird Problem with Serverlag on Eggdrop 1.6.17

Hi, i recently experienced a weird problem on my shell: using a script that checks the lag the bot has to IRC, i got totally different results on eggdrop 1.6.17 and 1.6.15. I had one bot of each version connected from the same shell to the same irc server, the .15 bot hat a latency of 0.8-4ms, the ....
