Still no updates? DOA? Script is hardly "Dead on Arrival." It was released a few years back working and continues to work to this day. Any future updates might not show up in the header or even be announced as speechless mentioned a page back. Just grab the latest version and compare it t...

Yes by editing eggdrop.h and changing the max characters of HANDLEN to 32 or w/e the server you are on supports and then recompile your eggdrop. eggdrop.h is found in your eggdrop's src dir.

An example of my eggdrop.h file.

Code: Select all

#define HANDLEN 32  /* valid values 9->NICKMAX  */

Just follow the instructions. in the README file. You need the eggdrop source to compile the module. The following instructions assume, ~/eggdrop1.6.2/ is the directory where you installed your eggdrop from. (of course, other source dirs will work as well) Put gseen.mod.1.1.0.tar.gz in ~/eggdrop1.6....

rofl great stuff. i'll take my 2c and spend it on an upgrade of my 'search skill' ..sheesh who would have though aye. :D I kind of suspected bseen would *probably* be able to do that but couldn't recall ever seeing it do so and googling for a while made me forget all about even trying bseen out :o G...

Not your average Seen Script

Hi all you tcl legends. Thought i'd throw an idea out there and see if anyone is up for the challenge.. What i'm thinking is, well, you have your regular seen scripts that lookup when a particular nick was last seen on the network. What if there was an option or script that you could look up last se...

I dont know if it's me or if it's the actual script in question but i've noticed that sometimes when quering things like google weather for any location, it doesn't print the results to the channel, although i do get the debug output which loads fine in my browser. I've adjusted "variable split...

Can someone share a "classic" (like old version of tcl) theme for this new color configuration? I'd gladly share if I knew what you meant by 'classic' theme.. actually, all the versions I have dating back from v1.98 have my own colour scheme changes, which have stayed pretty much static t...

Yay, the script is working finally lmao. Took me a while to figure out what you meant with the new modes/demodes but I think I got it in the end. Just like to point out that the reporting of weather is a bit weird looking, in particular with the degree symbol being substituted. Joori: !g weather syd...

speechless bud, I've run into a problem which I thought the 'd' version of the script would solve, alas it hasn't and I'm still getting a tcl-error... which is strange since the script was working fine then all of a sudden stopped working for !google weather. I get the following output in my eggdrop...

Bit of an old thread and sorry to bump it up, but yeah, I'm having the same problem. My eggdrop has been up a day less than my box's uptime ~58 day mark.. and despite a .restart it still shows my eggdrop as being untrustworthy and with no rank number! ...running eggdrop 1.6.19. I thought this bug wa...

awesome stuff, i'll give that a go and see how it pans out. Although, it drives me nuts seeing people use "die" in their scripts when most of them would not render the eggdrop useless and thus it's not needed... so i might just remove that seeing as i wouldn't want to compromise my eggdrop...
