Thanks so much rosc2112 - I did read that but it's making more sense to me now that I'm reading it over again.

I wonder though, why it would work one day and not the next? Could the router have changed and no one told me?

That's what the logfile said rosc2112. I am connecting via a router, my IP address is: 192.168.1.2 Subnet mask is: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway is: 192.168.1.1 Sorry I"ve not been more clear, I'm trying to. I've been reading documentation for a while now and just don't know where to look anymo...

Connect to your bot by telnet and then while you're logged in telnet, try to dcc connect and see what shows up in the console log, or if you can't connect by telnet, turn on quick-logs and check the logfile, it should show what's going on. Most likely you're having either firewall/nat problems, or ...
