I'm not sure why, but I always use /ctcp botname chat , one more thing if you are trying to dcc your bot while you are behind the bouncer (psyBNC, ZNC) it won't work you need to do /ctcp botname chat

if both eggdrops are in same network and same chans why don't you in DCC chat .chattr botname +abfvo ?

As far as I remember there was a way to identify to NickServ in eggdrop .conf file, can someone be so kind and remind me please what was the code? and where exactly I have to place it in .conf file?
