Well with no error description whatsoever, that's what you get. Here's a few pointers, though. Have the bot been running the whole time ? if not, did it save the userfile. Are you sure your host didnt change ? and by host i mean how you appear on irc, not your actual ip. eg. did the host resolve bot...

Also do a '.chaninfo #chan' and make sure it's actually using those settings.

ok, I think this is somewhat what koom had in mind... ### # Parse show info from tv.com # Enable with .chanset #channel +tv # [0/1] public or private reply's (public 0, private 1) set tvreply 0 # offset to EST # 6 hours makes sense for CET (Europe) set tvoffset 6 if ![info exists egghttp(version)] {...

Sure, I wouldnt mind doing this.. The only problem is I dont see any of that info you asked for on that tv.com page.
A page search returns nothing on both genre, tagline and runtime.

I'm no big fan of long lines, so I like to split stuff up so it's easier to read.
[list ...] and {...} is the same thing, btw.

I really should stop using regexp for everything, though... old habits die hard

Thanks for the tips on coding styles that I didn't ask for, though.

you have to do that either way, as config settings wont override settings in the .chan file.

I updated the code posted above.
