I've set up the botnet again, and I keep on having the same problem with the same bot. All the others keep the +o flag for the bots, exept the new leaf...

I even recompiled the bot, let it run without any additional scripts en nothing changes....

Really don't get this one.....

It just caught my eye in your post that you could be using the wrong command.But indeed it isn't a solution to your prob.

Try setting the net-type to 5, I got the same prob once on Undernet, en it helped (weird).....

Check your bot's config to make sure the babel.tcl is loaded AFTER egghttp.tcl

nothing happens

Unless you're using a script that unbinds the original op-function you can't gain op this way...
Method is /Msg <botnick> OP <password> [channel]

Just set 'keep-all-logs' to 0 and 'switch-logfiles-at' to 2500 in your bot's configuration file.

It's mentioned in the 'tricks' -file situated in your bots /doc directory.

Just type .chanset #chan need-op in your partyline , with no parameter set this function will be disabled.

I've done what you said demond, changed the tclchan.c, reconfigured, recompiled and restarted the bot (you know the drill), makes no difference....Some settings are always reset to default. It's not that big a problem for the replies but now i see that even x:caps always get reset after every restar...

I've got this problem once, telnetting to the bot worked like a charm but userfilesharing didn't work.

I got the problem solved with using the NAT-firewall settings and not using the 'set my-ip' and 'set my-hostname' settings.

Nope, there's no on/off switch for that...and yes it is annoying... You're better off using the previous version (1.3.3). I've installed the 1.4 once and it didn't last long....verry unstable in comparison with the 1.3.3 version. On my bots it kept freezing when using the !top 10 command. Also : the...
