Shark Apex UpLight LZ601 Vs. Shark ZS362: Which Vacuum Is Better?

The Shark corded stick vacuum is such a big mistake if you forget the two favorite products: Shark apex uplight vacuum LZ601 and Shark APEX ZS362.

While they are relatively similar, I still found they have a few differences that buyers should not ignore. Mainly, if you consider which one you should opt for, take a long look at the article below!

Shark Apex UpLight LZ601: A Quick Look

PROS
  • Incredible performance on various surfaces
  • Sucking up pet hair well
  • A detachable pod
  • No toppling over due to the self-standing feature
  • Zero M Cleaning brush roll
  • Strong suction power
CONS
  • Heavy
Verdict

In a nutshell, the Shark Apex UpLight DuoClean LZ601 vacuum is suitable for someone trying to find a robust and functional machine. As one of the newest models of the Shark brand, it features a lot more valuable parts with an impressive design. For example, you can not be passive with the Zero M self-cleaning brush rolls and the DuoClean technology coming with the device.

Shark Apex Corded Stick ZS362: A Quick Look

PROS
  • Handheld mode available
  • Zero M Cleaning brush roll
CONS
  • Lack of self-standing feature
Verdict

The Shark Apex Corded Stick ZS362 is well-equipped with the handheld mode and the Zero M cleaning brush roll. Besides, it can perform well on many surfaces, such as carpets and bare floors.

On the other hand, the machine might be frustrating due to its lacking the self-standing feature.

Similarity

There are two main similarities that I would like to introduce about the Shark products: the Zero M Self-Cleaning brush roll and DuoClean technology.

Regarding the Zero M rolls, they are significantly valuable for the case of stuck hair.

That is to say, if you use an ordinary cleaner, you might always be annoyed with the wrapped hair around the vacuum's brush roll.

To solve your problem, the Shark company provides the self-cleaning feature. Whenever you vacuum, there are series of protrusions to remove the hair continually.

Moreover, DuoClean technology is also provided in both machines. That means there is a soft and bristle brush roll to make the machine vacuum any dust and dirt, ranging from large to small debris.

Difference

The most significant difference between the Shark apex uplight corded lift away vacuum LZ601 and the ZS362 model is the hypervelocity suction, which only appears in the LZ601. With the more updated machine, you can take advantage of more substantial suction power from a higher-speed motor and the airflow.

Other than that, the LZ601’s pod, with a hose, can be detached to clean hard-to-reach areas. However, the ZS362 only features the handheld mode.

Additionally, although both are pretty heavy, the Shark Apex vacuum cleaner LZ601 vacuum can stand by itself in the upright mode, but the older model can not.

Final Words

In summary, if you are finding a better vacuum, my recommendation is the Shark Apex uplight vacuum Corded Lift Away LZ 601. Mainly because the machine has a detachable pod, making it easier to maneuver and clean more areas.
