eggdrop latest version doesnt compile the modules.

i cant seem to be able to compile the modules. everything else works fine.

thats the problem, should post more stuff... and when i do make, works fine. I tried the latest eggdrop up to 10. Any idea what to do?!?

After the "instalation" is complete, the modules are installed also? As far as I remember the modules are compiled and stuff on the "make" part, not on the "make config", where they are just detected or something like this.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right, correct me if i'm wrong..

So whats the deal! Your ./configure and subsequent make commands dont move the .so files to a directory under eggdrop1.6.15 called modules but instead it moves them to the eggdrop1.6.15 directory.

the egg is installed in /home/admin/eggdrop and not in /home/admin/irc/eggdrop1.6.45 ...

try to run it from there

for some reason it doesnt see the modules. i doesnt want to compile.. its like one variable aint there. what should i look for >!??!

You MUST ensure that you edit/verify your configuration file.
An example configuration file, eggdrop.conf, is distributed with Eggdrop.

Remember to change directory to /home/admin/eggdrop before you proceed.


Got that? Now go back and read it again so a fourth person does not have to come along and tell you all this.

PS, your modules compiled just fine.. they are in /home/admin/eggdrop/modules
