Ive been getting the message: You were kicked from #mp3download by Roc-A-Roo (Compromised Host. Known spambot/Trojan sender. Get Lost), on a number of servers.
I have not knowingly used bots or sent malicious software nor do my virus or adware checks show my machine as infected. My firewall is running so I am very confused as to why I get this message. Please Advise how I can fix.
Cheers |

So you are saying that my service provider has been found to be questionable or lax in its policing of its users?
I don't want to change providers, they are good from my point of view. What should they do or who should they contact to rectify the problem? |

your best bet is you (not your ISP) talking to those ops who banned you; I guess your ISP couldn't care less about the well-being of its customers on warez irc channels _________________ connection, sharing, dcc problems? click <here>

My guess is that the channel operators are running mIRC scripts that ban nicks suspected of being infected with a Trojan/Virus/Worm. It's "iffy" at best and totally unnecessary as Networks these days scan connecting clients anyway.
The following example will get banned:
Quote: | bmartin82 (~bmartin82@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) |
I suggest that you change your nick and fix your ident. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
