Hi,

I would like to setup eggdrop just for logging public text ... my current setup does this quite well, nevertheless, eggdrop still sends the op message 'Op me cause I am lame' to the channel.

How can I switch this off?

replace your getops script with better one (if you have a botnet, botnetop.tcl is de facto standard) or fix it to skip complaining when the bot isn't opped
