channel limiter(l) and join throttle(j) script

channel limiter(l) and join throttle(j) script

Hi everyone i need a channel limiter at the same time join throttle the channel like this sample ---> * Bot sets mode: +lj 119 4:5 ..thanks in advance for the script :D

You can utilize AllProtection to set whatever lockmode you wish for join floods.

You don't need to change settings for join throttling (+j), just set it once on your channel, if you're using the bahamut IRCd (your own IRC network, DALnet etc). Note 4:2 (joins:secs) is the minimum setting.

As for a simple channel limiter you can use:
http://channels.dal.net/awyeah/scripts/chanlimit.tcl

Or if you want a whole protection script with a limiter use the one by Sir_Fz.

is there a way the channel limiter everytime mode +l the channel the +j 4:2 also show just like this ---> +lj 119 4:2

You can, but its point less to set +j 4:2 along with +l. It is pointless if you keep on setting the same value for +j (4:2) everytime +l is changed, since +j doesn't effect number of users in a channel (like +l) is only there for join throttling.

So IMHO, setting +j should be once sufficient and hence you can change the value of +l based on the channel's usercount.

can u take a look channel #usa on dalnet sir i just wanted like that it doesn't matter if it useless ---> +lj 119 4:2 thanks in advance guys. :D
