When i load the script i get the following error i was just wondering if someone could help me with this?
[19:36] Tcl error in file 'eggdrop.conf':
[19:36] can't find package http 2.3
while executing
"package require http 2.3"
(file "scripts/weather.tcl" line 55)
invoked from within
"source scripts/weather.tcl"
(file "eggdrop.conf" line 1329)
[19:36] * CONFIG FILE NOT LOADED (NOT FOUND, OR ERROR)
I downloaded this script off of egghelp.org the http package is different from the one included in the .zip file. |

1) This is an error from the weather.tcl script, not the google script.
2) Obviously you're missing the http package, which is part of (newer) tcllib..Upgrade |

Good job, its a nice script, i was wondering if it will be possible to add something.
Add a rls list by month and date mostly like the gamefaqs(the games by date) for TV DVDR release.
there the url:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releasesmonth.cfm
Would be really a nice addition for the tv-dvdr fan!

I could make a stand-alone script for that site if you want, and if madwoota or incith don't feel like adding such a specific function to the google script. |

We will never stray from google.com specifically in the official google script. Besides google fight I think.
In v2.0 the script will feature "modules" of sorts, so that specific sites might be plugged in to the core search/google script. It should work well. _________________ ; Answer a few unanswered posts! |

I'll work in this as a standalone script in the next day or 3. Look for an announcement in a separate thread. |

Just a *bump* to let you know that 1.8.6a (the latest official) is on egghelp's tcl archive now.
(And so I can get notified on this thread again since it seems to have forgotten me.)

yay, it works!
www.linuirc.com has an old version (1.3) that returns no results from a regular search. (actually, most of its scripts are old from the looks of it)
edit: um.. it's double-posting the results of the search. Why? |

Now honestly, why would I release anything that did that ?
Show me what happened, what you searched for, which version you have, give me some details, and perhaps I can suggest something.

versions of things that may be relevant: eggdrop 1.6.18 & incith-google 1.8.6a & tcl8.4
and.. it was posting results twice on regular searches, image searches, conversions, it repeated itself on a spell: search with no results, but only returned once when it had a result.
And for some reason, it's not doing that anymore as I try to pull some actual examples without having to dig into logs. >.> *shakes fist* Damned eggdrop trying to make me out to be a liar!
So the problem seems to have resolved itself at some point. Don't ask me how or why, I couldn't tell ya. If it happens again I'll let you know. |
