First, i cant find a workin link to dl. Argh. So i ended up with "Racbot", and i cant get it to work at all, it just sits on my systray and nuttin open and workin. Can somebody please point me in the right direction? I using windows xp.

thanks, i got it , edited config, ran eggdrop -m, modules loaded, but it does not go to irc, prompt window just closes and no irc window opens nada. I dont see it running. There were no errors. ????

got it! what if the channel has a key? how can i get the bot to join that room?

no, that won't help... need-key is actually a script container, it's used to store the script that will be executed when the bot needs the key to join

RiffRaff, if you know the channel key, use this:

.chanset #channel need-key putserv "join #channel thekey"

Thanks a bunch guys! Its all good now. I can now dcc the bot and whoops, looks like i have access to the commands and the help file...looks like i got some reading to do! Wink
