well, apparently there is some activity on 1.6 and 1.7 branches - according to the CVS log Wcc keeps commiting patches - so hopefully those will reach some critical mass and a new release will be rolled out

imo, that fix for the dns module on osx is worth a version bump.

Hey guys... we haven't forgotten about you Smile

Eggdrop1.6.17 was a good (IMO) release, so there was no rush to release 1.6.18. A release is coming sometime in October. 1.6.18 CVS should be stable if you guys are needing some of the changes in 1.6.18.

Don't think this past year has been a sign of Eggdrop slowing down.. it isn't. It's a sign of Eggdrop finally becoming stable enough for us not to have to do a release every 2 weeks Smile
