what is the best version of curl for windows xp sp3 32 bit ?
when i type !chanset #aliasX +imdb the eggdrop tell me

I don't use curl, so I cannot tell you which version is best.
As for the second issue: following the link in your bot's answer will take you to the syntax of the !chanset command: "!chanset <$setting|$settingsPack> [$options]"
So leave out the channel and it should work.
If it doesn't work then it is probably an issue with the a&a bot script - try a dcc session with your bot and use .chanset. |

If I am guessing correctly, you have merely 'borrowed' a bot from a bot lending channel (using !chanset instead of a true partyline .chanset suggests this). And now that the bot is in your channel, you want to extend it's functionality. Problem being, thats bot lending. You cannot extend or change anything, all you can do is get yourself a bot, not lended, so you can. Eggdrop is one such bot, quite versatile. Windrop is the windows equivalent. Both are easily obtainable.

Current version still works fine for me. Watch it that you do not use any "strange" characters in your search string like german umlauts or other non-ascii letters, that usually gave me this error.
