don't get too emotional, try to recreate userfile by starting the bot with -m
DCC has nothing to do with disconnecting from IRC; read the top sticky post at this forum for DCC solutions |

Can you connect to the bot (to partyline) via telnet ? _________________ Contact: [CB]Decl @ #ClanBase (QuakeNet)

somehow sounds like your bots timeouts due block from ns or ident lookup or some crapy scripts. The way the bots handles TCP/DCC connections its impossible to timeout because a new connection unless your shell doesnt limit your process to 1 single connection at the same time which however again wouldn't be the fault of the eggdrop. _________________ De Kus

Definitely sounds like a firewall issue. Check with shell provider. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

well the logs doesnt say a thing ...att list no anomaly ...and its not just me..no others user can connect...but its weird cos it worked for a week and suddenly doesnt want any more.
If you guys want logs...say what logs you want and i gona put them here
if would have been an firewall issue it wouldnt have worked the first time..and no..i didnt do any changes i didnt add any scripts. |

did you bother to read the sticky post about DCC, as I hinted to you?
it seems that you have firewall or other connection limitation problem(s) on your own host |
