Problem loading gseen inPrecompiled eggdrop

Post by reyborn »

Hello Good day!
I'm quiet new here, I am using precompiled eggdrop because i was not able to compile an eggdrop in my pc and it is running fine. But the problem is i want to load gseen.mod in my eggdrop, but per instruction of compiling the gseen.mod, it says there "Put gseen.mod.1.1.0.tar.gz in ~/eggdrop1.6.2/src/mod/,
and unpack it (tar xfz gseen.mod.1.1.0.tar.gz). Change directory
back to ~/eggdrop1.6.2/." but i couldn't find such directory inside eggdrop's directory. What should i do?

Thanks in advance.

either don't use precompiled bot (compile one yourself, then compile gseen), or find a precompiled gseen
connection, sharing, dcc problems? click <here>
before asking for scripting help, read <this>

I have tried compiling by myself but i got error "configure:1444: checking for gcc
configure:1473: result: no
configure:1524: checking for cc
configure:1553: result: no
configure:1566: checking for cc
configure:1612: result: no
configure:1665: checking for cl
configure:1694: result: no
configure:1708: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH" that's why i am using a precompiled eggdrop.
In addition, can you give me a site where could i get precompiled gseen?

Your help would be a great pleasure for me,
Thanks a lot

I gather you want a Windrop (to run on your PC). Get one at Windrop Central. I think they come with gseen.dll

PS: It's not difficult to compile your own Windrop with Cygwin installed on your PC.

No, i am running my bot on suse linux 9.03. And windrop is only for those users running with windows, right?
What I've want is that a precompiled gseen.mod if there is any.

Sorry for my english, i am filipino and not really fluent using foreign language.

The "official" windrop versione were reliable until now (except for the problems that were caused in earlier TCL builds). I probably wouldn't have compiled it myself, if I didn't want to have a different handlen (wanted to link to a 30 handlen angelbot) and a bigger memory table (for more gseen and stats data).
