I`m wondering is there any tcl that uses priv msg insted of party line. I mean that you can use private insted of party line. the same information in the party line is displayed to the privmsg

The Tcl Archive is full of scripts that private message the person using it.

I reckon the guy wants his bot 100% controlled via privmsg; while that's certainly possible (in rconsole fashion), it is definitely lame & pointless, since anyone who can't manage to get his dcc working doesn't deserve to be an eggdrop owner anyway

Can't manage ? What if somebody has ports closed on his internet connection, and thanks to that he can't use DCC. Doesn't deserv ? Think before you say.

no commercial provider will deny you listening port on their shell host; and if you are not using a commercial provider but run your bots illegally behind secured firewalls, you shouldn't be doing that in the first place
