Hello ther i need a script wich bans ~ident users
the ban should only ban specifyed hosts
eg. coolo!~cool@leet.host.tld shouldnt get banned
BUT
coolo!~cool@039.adsl123.bie05.lan.ch should get banned with *!~cool@*lan.ch but only for one min with some kick message
next point is the host e.g. *lan.ch should be defined at a seperat file eg banhosts.txt or somthing like this can some one do this for me thanks |

Absolutely everything you wish to do can be done via the command console.

Hi
Why ban someone for 1 min??? For what reason, be more specific.
If you don't want some people to be banned : use the exempt function.
Why using a seperate file if you can use tempban on *lan.ch?

actually its the point that i dont want to set that ban manually if i ban *!~*@*.lan.ch f.ex. perm my bot wont remove that bans cus i've set -enforcebans
why the ban time of one minute just to tell the user to auth to the network service bot for quaknet Q and set +x to hide the host this way you can keep spamdrones etc easily out of you chan
the .txt file just for adding hosts cuz you know drones using much hosts.
€: and Alchera note that not everyone is using loltoolz. i preffer Stormbot

Alchera say:
and not .help ban
on tcl archive exist tcl what you give mask and make ban to ip on channel. With a little modification(if you know tcl scripting) you can make what you need. |

Try blacklist1.3 from here.
PS: I suggest you use .+ban as it's not necessary to use a script. _________________ Follow me on GitHub

try banmask.tcl
read the description and with a lot of modification you can ban the mask and not the ip.
Minus is that you have to add masks if you want only via editing the tcl and not via dcc. |

Who uses either of those two bloated scripts anyway? I certainly do not!
Where did I mention scripts? I indicated using the Command Console. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

I was actually asking myself the same question, nobody even mentioned stormbot or loltoolz.....
But anyway why using a script if everything you need to do this is actually there? |

| Quote: | ### +ban <hostmask> [channel] [%<XdXhXm>] [comment]
Adds a ban to the list of bans stored on the bot, with optional comment and
ban time. This ban is stored with your handle as the creator, and will be
in effect for every channel if no channel is specified. Prefixing a comment
with '@' will make it only visible within the bot, and not used as the ban
reason. Ban time has to be expressed in days, hours, and/or minutes.

stick ban works after you have .+ban *!*@banmask
the stick ban help you when the chanban list is reseted the bot push the ban on chan.same thing if someone op remove ban from channel.the bot push back forced.
that mean sticky ban.
example:
dcc commands:
.+ban *!*@crazyegg.* perm
.stick ban *!~*@crazyegg.* #mychannel
on channel now:
StupidEgg (~eggy@CrazyEgg.is.Stupid.cc) joined #mychannel
bot sets mode +b *!~*@crazyegg.* <---first ban
bot kick StupidEgg (perm)
@OperOnChannel sets mode -b *!~*@crazyegg.*
bot sets mode +b *!~*@crazyegg.* <---that is sticky ban
via dcc now:
.resetbans #mychannel
on channel:
bot sets mode -bbbbbb ban1 ban2 ban3.....
bot sets mode +b *!~*@crazyegg.* <----that is sticky ban
something like that means stick ban.
Also as you are newbienow you have to know that all here was like you in the past.(i am still newbie too.Everyday learn something new)
you have to try to read the manual and make some tests with your bot cause noone would explain you in the future how an egg working.
Noone as i see was sensored here cause he didnt know.nobody was borned with working knowledge of egg and tcl scripting:) |
