i've something weird with my eggdrop and it just started a few weeks ago.
when starting the bot everything works fine but after about 2 days the bot stops.
and everytime arround 23:55.
looking at the logs i can't find any errors.
crontab doesn't restart it because when doing a ps x you still see it in the list.
the running dcc connection also closes.
anyone knows what the problem could be ?
also provided some info about the bot after i had to restart it.

Check the eggdrop log and see what happens just before the bot quits. Make sure you don't have any scripts that might be causing this problem, if you don't know then try to unload all scripts and see if the problem persists (if it doesn't, then atleast you'll know that it's a script problem). If none of that helped then contact your shell administator.

i checked the logs and nothing unusual to see.
just the normal channel stuff.
like people joining/quiting or chattings.

the problem started out of nothing dind't add any new scripts or changed anything.

we're running it on a dedicated server and nothing has been changed on the dedicated. |
