|
|
Hi guys
i have 2 windrops running at the same box, both port 3333 all
i tryed 2 link the bots with
.+bot bot1 warb0t3.users.quakenet.org:3333
.+bot bot2 warb0t1.users.quakenet.org:3333
.link bot1 bzw .link bot2
the bot deffinition works
(00:17:52) ((warb0t68) [00:17] #MAXP# +bot bot2 warb0t1.users.quakenet.org:3333
(00:17:52) ((warb0t68) Added bot 'bot2' with address 'warb0t1.users.quakenet.org:3333' and no hostmask.
(00:17:52) ((warb0t68) You'll want to add a hostmask if this bot will ever be on any channels that I'm on.
but the linking does not
(00:21:20) ((warb0t68) [00:21] #MAXP# link bot1
(00:21:21) ((warb0t68) [00:21] Linking to bot1 at warb0t3.users.quakenet.org:3333 ...
(00:21:21) ((warb0t68) [00:21] Failed link to bot1.
i tryed also different ports like bot1 3331 bot2 3333
but that doesnt help
is there a sollution?
thx guys :>

[00:46] #MAXP# link bot2
[00:46] Linking to bot2 at 195.158.169.96:3333 ...
[00:46] Lost Bot: bot2
[00:47] Telnet connection: port-195-158-169-96.dynamic.qsc.de/1876

Not only do they need different ports they also have to be unique users. They are to have different usernames and well as handles (of course).
The telnet address is your actual IP (of course). _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

actually they don't need different ports, they even don't need 2 ports
presumably one of them is always going to connect to the other, so it doesn't need listening port at all _________________ connection, sharing, dcc problems? click <here>
