[Bman]

Hey I have a little concern when my bots op each other in a channel they each op another bot with one +o in the line, is there a way to make say the bots that get ops first to then in turn op with +oooo to op faster and not take up the whole screen with single +o's?

Also i'm using NetBots v4.10 and Eggdrop v1.6.17

Moved from the scripting forum as it doesn't look like you're trying to script anything.

I assume when you say you're using netbots.tcl that you're using the botnetop component to do the opping. If that's the case, your settings are probably too aggressive. Refer this post to reduce flooding, and this post for the related matter of slow opping (less flooding usually means slower opping, and vice versa).

it's not slow thats not the problem, when they op each bot ops only one at a time which floods the channel yea i know i can make each bot req one bot to op it thats not what i want i just want say the first bot that gets ops to op 4 other bots right away and then the new bot op the rest, so theres like 3 lines on the chat of opping and not like 12 lines or more if you know what i mean, i will show an example later when i get home, thanks for any help

I would like to know if theres an easy way to get my bots to op 4 bots at a time instead of this way, any help is apprecieated

also note thats all the lines it took to op all the bots and i have 12 bots in my botnet

well, the answer to op'ing multiple bots was answered by BarkerJr, by using pushmode, but since botnetop.tcl is part of slennox's netbots.tcl (and kinda complicated), I wouldn't recommend trying to alter any code by yourself.
Rather, why not try a different script such as getops.tcl? There are many excellent scripts in the tcl archive devoted to this exact issue...

botnetop.tcl supports pushmode. But the non-default bop_osync setting Bman has chosen means it's not even being used. As it says in the documentation, "enabling this can result in +o flooding". Change it back to 0.

You've also changed bop_delay from 20 to 0, which doesn't give bots much time to accumulate op requests so they can respond with fewer op lines. Try increasing it to 5 or 10.
