hello. i have a small problem.
if i want to start a dcc chat by "/dcc chat bot_name" its starts a connection and:
| Code: | Chat with |^default^|
Waiting for acknowledgement...
DCC Chat connection established
-
DCC session closed |
@ telnet it says "password timeout". but i have only some of 1/10 second to type in the password. i really don't know why the password timeout comes so quick.
can someone help? |

Try /ctcp <botnick> chat and checkout this setting in the .conf:
| Quote: | # This settings defines a time in seconds that the bot should wait before
# a dcc chat, telnet, or relay connection times out.
set ident-timeout 5 |

If you are trying to chat to the bot whilst using a BNC you will have problems until you configure that BNC correctly. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
