i put my bot on a different server and now i cant get on the partyline?
ive tried deleting the user file, ive tried all sorts
nothing lets the bot see me..
if i /ctcp bot chat
nothing either
when i telnet in... and do a .whoami
its says im HQ??

HQ is normally the designator for you when you start eggdrop with -nt switch.
Possibities for the bot not knowing you or not using dcc:
1) you have not used the bot's "hello" function after creating old userfile
2) you have not set a pass after creating new userfile |

its OK sorted it out..
i deleted the 2 user files( the actual .user and it backup)
then started the bot with -m switch again.
did the bot hello (or rather another word i use)
and it works ok now...
