This is the line in my config file :
| Code: | | logfile jpk #channel "logs/channel/channel.log" |
Problem is that the bot doesn't log any public chat.
I've used the same lines in 1.6.17 en had no problem with it there??
Somebody who can offer some suggestions?

1.6.18 is a Release Candidate 1 which means (in a nutshell) it is 'buggie'. Read the information on Eggheads.org and lodge a bug report, if necessary. The developers seldom peruse these forums.

I certainly will follow you're advice. After I've tried my second RC1, if I have the same prob there I will forward that bug-report to the develompent team. Weird thing though that I dind't had the problem witch the cvs snapshot.....
I'll keep you guys posted.

I've tried a second 1.6.18rc1 en that one logs perfectly....Is it possible that this problem can occure cause I had to disable modules : dns and compress in the iconfig before compiling with the first bot? I kept on getting compiling errors when dns and compress modules were enabled....
Additional info : the two conf files of the two rc1 I've installed are exactly the same but bots are running on different servers. (second one had no compiling issues)
This is what I got when compiling (./configure and make actually)

Something to also concider dusk, is the rc1 is being constantly updated. They may have already heard of the logging problem and did the fix.
