| can i use my own linux web hosting to run this stuff? I dont see why I would need to purchase two different webhosting things. |

if it is your machine, the answer is "yes, of course you can"
if you mean that you are wanting to run eggdrop on a linux machine on which you have only a web hosting account, the answer is "most web hosters have IRC blocked, you have to ask them about that" |

If you use Linux you can run eggdrop or on Windows a 'Windrop', you do not necessarily have to have a shell account. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
