Hi, I sort my irc channels by text in brackets ie, #[01]channel but my eggdrop will not connect to it. is there anyways possible i can make my eggdrop connect to channels that contain brackets?

You'll have to escape those brackets, as these are used to invoke commands in tcl.
Either use #\[01\]channel or {#[01]channel}
