Hey all,

I dont know how easy this would be, as i'm pritty new to eggdrops and very new to TCL

I have an eggdrop running the statsmod script
he needs pruging regulary, which means DCC chat to him and .purgestats

What i'd like to be able to do is just type BOTNAME please purge your stats and him do it himself.

I;d like only a few people to be able to do this, so it would recognicse certain names or hosts? or maybe users from the eggdrop userfile?

Any ideas?

It would require a partial re-write of the source. The request seems like a nice addition; send a request to the author?

Why not just make a timer to periodically do the purging?

As you dont say which swtats mod you are using its not easy to guess but if you are using stats.mod from http://www.kreativrauschen.com/stats.mod/
Then I think it can be set in the stats.conf file.

yes i'm using that stats script.

I have him set to purge every 48 hours

I purge him manually about every 12 hours though, just thought the public announcement of it looked cool Smile

the channel has a high population and the amount of users is quite high.
