My bot won't recognize me when I login to the IRC channel from work.
How can I make it recognize me? I use the same nick, and it is reged with nickserv |

Eggies generally don't know or care of nickserv, etc..
it cares of addresses of the form nick!user@host, which is matched against hostmasks in it's internal user database..
As you connect from your office, obviously the host-part (and possibly the user aswell) will be different, thus requiring a separate hostmask for your userlist entry.
Check out the IDENT msg command on how to identify yourself from new locations. You most likely also wish to have a look at the .+host and .-host partyline commands _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |
