wer getting tanks game back from the dead, it has been updated recently and a new site is on its way irctanks.com
as the game is being extended now on several networks.. what would be great is to have a tcl for that game for the tanks playing channels.
sort !servers (listing the available servers) etc
im not a tcl scripter at all, so do guys have a look at the game, and plz let know if we could do something helpful

Not everybody is familiar with this game; you'll have to specify what you want the script to do. _________________ Follow me on GitHub

@Stefanoo: If you're hoping some one will actually convert a mIRC "script" (which I am guessing what this is all about) to Tcl then you'll be probably waiting a long time.
A suggestion is that you actually make an effort and learn Tcl and get that script up and running.
If the above is incorrect then post the Tcl code in the appropriate forum (as this is not it) and maybe some one will show you how to make the necessary modifications. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

what? convert to tcl? what are you talking about.. i suggest you check the game before you post/comment.
Anyways all Iv suggested above, is that if anyone is intrested to script something out for the game, is a good idea. iv noticed some channels playing this game, and are in need of a tcl that could help out with the presentation, server list etc of the game..
thats all |

| If I'm not mistaken, the tank game in question is actually a graphical game that runs in mirc's mini-console. As far as making an announce script to tell people where the servers are, any of the available announce/spam/joke scripts in the tcl archive will do, just change the announcements/spam/jokes to the server names.. |

| You expect us to analyze an mirc script that only works for mirc? |

Where's this sever list located anyway? Stefanoo you're not being clear about what your request is exactly about; just state what you need and don't expect us to read your mind. _________________ Follow me on GitHub

Apparently rosc2112, which is why I alluded to that scenario in my post.
Stefanoo: The assumption that Tcl coders know anything about mIRC "scripting" is erroneous basically because nearly all of us deal with *nix only! _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

| Better off asking on an mirc-scripting forum, or even asking the author of the tank script to put in an alias to pull up the server list.. |
