Hey,
I'm new with eggdrop and tcl.
I tryed to install an eggie on my server but it didn't work
i tryed eggdrop 1.6.10, 1.6.17 and eggdrop latest.
Every time i got the same error when i try to ./configure.

Your Tcl version is much too old for Eggdrop to use. You should
download and compile a more recent version. The most reliable
current version is 8.4.6 and can be downloaded from
ftp://tcl.activestate.com/pub/tcl/tcl8_4/.

but on the server the version of tcl is 8.4.12-14.
the eggie needs 8.3.3 or higher and for me 8.4.12 is higher then 8.3.3

Look in the config.log for permission denied or file not found errors.. Likely you don't have access to a header file, or you only have the libs and not the headers (devel packages.)
