i am using linux ubuntu desktop edition.. can anyone help me??

or is this problem unfixable

Use your package manager (aptitude) to install the needed libraries &c .i.e tcl/tk, gcc etc. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been. Search \| FAQ \| RTM

/usr/bin/ld: crt1.o: No such file: No such file or directory That is part of glibc, so you probably need the development package for that. Or possibly it's in /lib (that's where it is on my system) in which case you need to add /lib to your /etc/ld.so.conf and then run ldconfig to update the cache.
