might be a n00bish question, but when i want the bot to priv msg my channel with [ and ] around some text it really hates them and wont msg the chan any ideas why or if this is fixable?

Brackets "[]" have special meaning in Tcl so you need to escape them using the escape-character "\" (which is also a special character itself Wink). For example:

puthelp "privmsg #channel :\[Title\] The text is successfully sent to #channel"
