Hi, I'm getting the following with both incith-google-v2.00a.tcl and incith-google-v2.00b.tcl I'm presuming it's a format change on google's website?

Code:
[11:52:47] <user> !g weather chisinau
[11:52:51] <@bot> 1,390,000 results | Chisinau, Republic of Moldova Forecast : Weather Underground @ http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/33815.html | BBC Weather | Chisinau International @ http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/2180 | 10 Day Weather Forecast for Chisinau, Moldova - weather.com @ http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/MDXX0001

thank you for your efforts!

but I still have some problems with weather and ru.wikipedia:

Code:
[19:10:52] <&rubin> !g .com weather Paris
[19:10:54] <&bestbotever> 107,000,000 results | 10 Day Weather Forecast for Paris, France - weather.com @ http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/FRXX0076 | Paris Weather Forecast and Conditions @ http://www.weather.com/weather/today/Paris+France+FRXX0076 | BBC Weather | Paris @ http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/40

Code:
[19:11:28] <&rangil> !wikipedia .ru Moscow

This links to search info page in ru.wikipedia, not search result itself, you can try it yourself:

http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search=Moscow&fulltext=Search

and bot gets content of link hidden in question mark in top right corner

I don't have a direct solution, but, in the interim you could use speechles/incith's weather script which has a !time function too. I actually prefer it's time output to the google one.

Something WEIRD happens when you use !time. I checked the output the script is getting and it's the Javascript code to work out the time! So I guess this makes grabbing the time is a little hard at the moment >.>

Version: 2.0.0b

Seems Youtube has changed significantly enough to break the script and cause quite a bit of flooding:

Issuing:

!y blah

Results in no answer, but if followed by a !g test...

Then it spews the buffer.

I *think* I may have found a bug with the images.google block. When setting
Code:
variable link_only
to 0 - every other *.google function does do what it should be doing, which is to only show the link, except for images.google which does show the description even though we are set to 0.

Unfortunately I could not debug this issue with the Google images part of this script. If this is not to be expected, which I presume should not be, please let us know if there is a possible solution.

Cheers

Change this part, within the procedure images...
Code:
        # add the search result
          append output "[descdecode $desc]$::incith::google::break${link}${incith::google::seperator}"
        }

To...
Code:
        # add the search result
        if {$incith::google::link_only == 1} {
          append output "${link}${incith::google::seperator}"
        } else {
          append output "[descdecode $desc]$::incith::google::break${link}${incith::google::seperator}"
        }

... and there are alot of issues with this script atm..
Expect an update soon. Very, very, soon. One that corrects things all over the place... ;D

Absolutely the best google script I've found even with the few bugs it has. I look forward to your update. Great work Speechles.

Hello speechles, can you please also take a look at why I always have to set use_gzip to 0 again, rehash and set it back to 1 (and rehash again, of course) to get rid of the "data error" message? The bot does say "Incith:Google compression test successful, found zlib package! Gzip enabled.", so it does work, strange...

This situation presents itself everytime the bot is (re)started and somebody wants to use the script before I had the chance of doing the above steps, annoying strange bug...

Hi... I need some help...

I've used this

!google .uk sex pistols

The bot returned this:

Socket Error accessing 'http://www.google.uk/search?q=sex%20pistols&safe=off&lr=lang_all&ie=utf-8' .. Does it exist?

and in the partyline returned this:

_Achmed_> [21:10:29] Tcl error [incith::google::public_message]: can't read "cid": no such variable

Cheers

edit;

I've just moticed that when i use the command !myspace blalblabla

the partyline returns

[21:40:35] Tcl error [incith::google::public_message]: can't read "cid": no such variable

Apparently I'm also experiencing the same issue:
