Uhm, you have a lot of problems...
You need modules for the bot to go on IRC.
You need enable: Server, IRC, BLOWFISH
I REALLY erge you to read all documentation about the Eggdrop. |

don't let a screwup turn you off to eggdrop sharpie. simply remove everything you have done, then go to setting up your eggdrop, and follow the instructions. Might be easier to start over from scratch, only takes a few minutes anyhow. You should also pay extra careful attention to your conf file, read every single line and edit accordingly. _________________

I would still maintain that the issues you are suffering are caused by improperly compiling/installing eggdrop. Starting from scratch with a fresh tarball might be a good idea indeed.
Also, Spreading the same queries in three different threads is imho a really bad idea, as it only makes it more troublesome for all of us to get all the information on what has been done, what has been suggested, etc... _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |

All permissions should be properly set already within the tarball, and be restored as you unpack it directly on the shell.
Might be a good idea to start all over from scratch, removing any and all files still remaining, including the tarball you used to install.
Then wget a fresh copy from geteggdrop.com, unpack it (tar -xzf eggdrop1.6.18.tar.gz), run the configure-script, run 'make config', and so on...
Also, these kind of problems are quite common when people unpack their tarball on a windows-system and then upload all the containing files to their shell, rather than upload the tarball and unpacking it there instead... _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |

sharpie1664: Please edit (rename) the subject in opening post as this has nothing to do with any module making. _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
