I've tried installing an eggdrop like 4 times now and keep getting this error. As far as I know i've config'd it correctly but have no idea what this error means. |

purely out of curiosity, when exactly do you see this error? When the bot is trying to connect to a server? or when you attempt to dcc chat? Have you tried a different server? Have you tried /CTCP Botnick CHAT ? _________________

Hi
What i had to do to solve this problem was mess around and read for ages, what you need to read is ##### MORE ADVANCED SETTINGS ##### in your eggdrop config.
My box has an ip of 10.1.1.100 but the router has in open via DMZ i guess eggdrop dident like this but anyway i fixed it with these 2 lines in the config.
set my-ip "10.1.1.100"
set nat-ip "201.202.203.204"(your need your real ip here of course) 127.0.0.1 should work as well if you haveyour box DMZ'ed
Hope this helped |
