hi,

i'm running an eggdrop through a bouncer. when i use the restart-command the bot/bouncer leaves all channels. in psybnc the leavequit-option is deactivated. that's why i suppose it is an option within the eggdrop which i have to change.

does anyone know where to deactivate that?

I don't understand what you mean by running an eggdrop through a psybnc... I can't claim that I understand how that would work. Anyway, to answer your question, whenever you do the .restart command, the bot has to leave all the channels it is in, in fact, it disconnects from the irc entirely and reboots. I'm confused about what you are talking about

maybe this clears it up:

the eggdrop connects to a bouncer in the way a normal user does.
when i use the restart-command, the bouncer doesn't leave the irc, the bot quits the connection to the bouncer.
while that happens, the bouncer also leaves all channels, which i don't want it to do.

Upon restarting, your eggdrop will always part all channels prior quitting..
Only option to prevent this would be to rewrite the source.
