| This might be a completly obvious question but i know that auto op is a bad idea and all but the faq says that the bot can give op on a password been given. How do i do this? looked everywhere. thanx. |

messaging the botnick won't do you any good on a standard eggdrop without help from a script, as eggdrop has no native messaged commands. Vans, search the tcl archive for a script that provides this infrastucture. I have used stormbot.tcl for many years, and it has many useful public and msg commands. give it a try. _________________
