I'm new to eggdrop. I've set up my config file and I've managed to get the bot online, i've identified with it and set a password, but I can't DCC chat with it. when i use /dcc CHAT, the bot just sits there and doesn't accept the invitation. when i /ctcp <botnick> CHAT, it returns this:

>bot< CTCP CHAT
* Received a malformed DCC request from bruce_lee.
* Contents of packet: DCC CHAT chat

i've set my IP correctly in the nat-ip variable in the config file, and i've read through all the guides and FAQs on the subject and this seems to be a problem i can't corner. any help/ideas/suggestions welcome. thanks.

thanks for that, that was helpful. it didn't turn up in search (i guess i was just using wrong keywords.)

that, and i was using the wrong version of the scripts files. (lol.)
