those are called virtual hosts, or vhosts for short, and are usually provided by the company you pay for your shell. Put 'vhosts' into google and do a little reading _________________

How do I setup vhost on it?
Is DNS important for vhost?
Will IRC server kick me out for having a vhost that cannot be dns? |

Explain "I have a linux server" please.
You have an account? If so simply type "vhosts" in your telnet client and you should get a list (or simply read the login information).
As for DNS the answer is yes and yes (especially for DALnet). _________________ Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
