I am looking for a script that people can type in channel !tracert or !ping followed by a hostname and it will output that in either notice or channel

there are several scripts already available that perform this function, go to the Tcl Archive, use the keyword 'ping'. I have personally used eggping.tcl and been quite pleased with the result. Mr. Green
