i have access to a ftp , and i also have cuteftp client and PuTTY can i still run a eggdrop bot?

How would you start the bot? Most ftp sites do not enable the site exec command.

Break your piggybank open, count out your pennies, and get a shell account. Many providers out there charge as little as $3.00 a month for a single process. If you can't find three bucks, maybe ask Santa Claus Wink

most web hosting servers do not allow to run an eggdrop or psy, so even if you successfully load or make it run. If it's not allowed it will be killed
