|
|
I am a C# developer associate. I have been asked to fix a broken wunderground bot script. I think it would help me to read a few scripts. I see the script archive and search for "weather." If I find a script I am interested in, what environment can I use to experiment with the script - I don't want my mistakes to affect the operation of a "live" channel. _________________ Rainbow Activist |

Are referring to this script (as the one being broken)?
DragnLord's weather script v3.8.7a

I will post when a new version is available. |

I misspoke. The script is not broken. Rather, the website whose HTML the script parses has changed. I was just using the shorthand phrase "broken script" to indicate a script that needs to be modified or replaced. One possibility is to start with DragonLrd's script, if he/she doesn't mind. _________________ Rainbow Activist |

NOTHING I HAVE SAID SHOULD BE TAKEN IN ANY WAY TO IMPLY ANY INABILITY OF DRAGONLORD TO WRITE WEATHER SCRIPTS. _________________ Rainbow Activist |

I see that derivative works are not allowed for DragnLord script are not allowed. Maybe murf's 3.4.1 will be a good starting point. _________________ Rainbow Activist |
