Can anyone please explain me what is the difference between autobotchk and botchk scripts which come with eggdrop source files.

autobotchk is the script that can create .botchk files and set crontab for them

then what is botchk script for? I know that ./autobotchk starts your eggdrop in the given period and I am using this script since the very first day.. the point is I dont get that is botchk script connected with autobotck script..

botchk is for those of us that prefer the "manual" option. Wink
