|
|
Hi,
I'm a bit curious. When I run the bot on the very end just before " Launched into the background (pid: 77015)" It says:
=== Bot: 1 channels, 2 users.
I understand the 1 channel, but what does the "2" users mean?
I run multiple bots and some only say 1 channels, 1 users, but this one in particular has 2 users, didn't really know what it means.
Thanks!

Open your bot`s userfile and look who is the second user. _________________ Архив TCL скриптов для ботов Eggdrop/Windrop:

1 of the users is supposed to be you, the other is probably added by a script if not by you. Type '.match *' in partyline to list all users on your bot. _________________ Follow me on GitHub

Yes, I see two hosts under my nick. How do I get rid of one of them and just keep the one I'm using? I think this happened when I ident into the bot while I was on a different IP.
Thanks!  |

I installed "wordgame" and it created a special user in the user's file. Got it.

Scripts creating their own "special users" is a rather bad thing, and at best a bad practise. I would recommend that you make a throughout check of the script to make sure there aren't any nasty stuff in there _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |
