----------------
/ctcp Bot CHAT [enter]

02:06 [ctcp(Bot)] CHAT

foo [enter]
-----------------

nothing happens...

in bash is this:
-----------------
[02:04] CTCP CHAT: from owner (~owner@server.com)
[02:04] [owner!owner@server.com] foo
[02:05] #channel (+CtNn) : [m/2 o/0 h/0 v/0 n/2 b/0 e/0 I/0]
[02:15] #channel (+CtNn) : [m/2 o/0 h/0 v/0 n/2 b/0 e/0 I/0]
[02:25] #channel (+CtNn) : [m/2 o/0 h/0 v/0 n/2 b/0 e/0 I/0]
-----------------

I've tried to set chmod 777 to parent directory, but Bot isn't showing any errors, like "can't write something to somewhere"...user, pid and chan file are there... whats wrong?

And if you use /dcc chat instead?

Also, is either your bot, your client, or both behind some kind of firewall or NAT?
Have you specified any "listen-ports" within your eggdrop config (open to users or "all")?
