Ok I just noticed that the 1 bot sets the ban the other kicks.
I have Tbot1 Tbot2 Tbot1 is the main and Tbot2 is the leaf so I am not sure if this makes a difference.
Tbot2 sets mode: +b *!*TEST@Cb79c.net.cable.rogers.com
Tbot2 sets mode: +o TEST
Tbot1 sets mode: +o TEST
*TEST was kicked by Tbot1 (Banned)

That does indeed make a difference...

In this case, the bot doing the kick sees the ban being placed on the channel, rather than placing it there itself, and hence uses the standard reason.

Which I believe I already mentioned in an earlier post?
