I'm new to eggdrop and after a quest of 1 hour I managed to install and configure the bot a bit but now i'm stuck at this. The bot keeps messaging me in Mirc
[23:54] <(BOTNAME> [16:30] @#CHANNELNAME (+stnk CHANNELPASSWORD) : [m/8 o/8 h/0 v/0 n/0 b/0 e/- I/-]
Someone told me to remove me as owner and do everything in Telnet
What is going on here?

Very simply, it's because you've set one or more of your channels +statuslog and got your console settings to include misc (o) log-messages.
Unless you need those status messages logged, I'd suggest you use .chanset to set all your channels -statuslog.
