I've never seen this one before. I have a botnet of 12 with the newest netbots installed. This botnet has been running for years. Yesterday I got a message from one of my users that they were de-op'd. Course I went looking and discovered something very strange. All the eggdrops are on shells and are version 1.6.18 and 1.6.19.

The hub was still connected to Undernet but not in any of it's channels. I restarted it and it rejoined only the channel in the config file. I rejoined it to the other 2 channels it should have been in. All the leaf bots were still in the channels.

I then checked to see if it still had user records. All the users were still present however there were no flags for any of them though the channel they were op'd in was still present.
All of the chansets were missing as well.

Have any of you seen this before? Is there a way to avoid it?
